Laros provides “tailor-made” chemicals for warp sizing
Laros sizing agents are specifically designed for cotton, wool, linen, viscose, and their blends with polyester.
Our product portfolio includes PVA-based or PVA-free sizing agents, PVA-replacement products or starch-free sizing agents. We have one-shot compounds and sizing materials to be used with other “film former” products.
After-warping waxing agents
Laros after-warping waxing agents are ready-to-use liquid waxes applied in the warping process. They are indicated for waxing of linen, wool, twisted cotton and polyester.
Additives for sizing
Laros sizing additives category includes defoamers, antistatic agents, softeners, wetting agents and lubricating agents (after-sizing waxes, weft lubricating agents, lubricating agents for sizing bath).

Sizing has been defined as “the heart of weaving”.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) was developed through collaboration by leading standard setters with the aim of defining requirements that are recognised world-wide and that ensure the organic status of textiles from harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing all the way to labelling in order to provide credible assurance to the consumer.
